Applications for the 2015-2016 Sno-Isle TECH school year will become available on Jan. 29. Students and parents will be able to attend the Open House held at the Sno-Isle campus in Everett on the same day, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The skills center offers a variety of technical training for high school students interested in a specific career path. Heather Cain, head of Sno-Isle registrar, said that classes are free of charge but "lab fees are included".
Sno-Isle students attend their normal high school for half the day and spend the rest at Sno-Isle, where they learn the hands-on skills required by their career of choice.
The program additionally grants students the opportunity to join clubs, gain internships, and qualify for scholarships.
